Architectural Design, 2021 (proposal)

A chain (German: kette) is the connecting element that holds the individual wheels together. At the same time, it represents synthesis and power transmission. Every link contributes to this. 'Kette' tries to create a place that enables complete activation. A meeting point for a wide variety of players. Independent of age, genre, or taste in music.
The approach deals with a club as part of the place. A public space that allows visitors to be a part of it even without a ticket. A techno party downstairs, a rock concert in the middle, and an open-air event on the roof - all at the same time at the 'kette'. Confidently, it stands as a cube next to the remains of the Berlin Wall in the Park am Nordbahnhof. The internal principle of the building functions through a continuous foyer, which provides space for informal and social interactions. It is place that remains transformable over time and use.
